SEDC of New Hampshire
SEDC is an independent non-profit corporation specializing in providing and locating financial assistance for businesses in areas of southeastern and south central New Hampshire. Our focus is on projects that create new jobs or secure existing jobs.

We serve as a "central point of contact", recruiting and screening service for businesses and municipal, state and federal agencies, as well as other non-profits, banks and investors.

We operate four Revolving Loan Funds tailored to different finance needs. We try to create and locate flexible and affordable finance packages for your businesses needs, whatever they may be.

Our Mission
SEDC leads the region in the enhancement of its industrial and business base in ways that improve the standard of living, quality of life and economic vitality of our communities.

Our Focus
We operate primarily in the Strafford County area and the Greater Manchester region. We seek to support businesses with projects or programs that lead to job creation or preservation of existing jobs.

In the ten years we have been established, we have assembled one of the largest Revolving Loan Funds and loan portfolios in the state. We have placed over $17,000,000 to businesses in our area, and brought in over $70,000,000 more. This has resulted in about 2,100 jobs being created and retained directly and about 4500 jobs created or retained indirectly. We have also worked with tax credit programs, loan guarantee programs, technical assistance programs and "grant to business" programs to benefit our clients.

Our staff and Board of Directors have a strong and diverse collective business background, with just enough government experience to make it all work. We understand what it is like to create, drive and grow a business. We seek to help, not hinder, that process.
