Current and Completed SEDC
Projects
SEDC has secured over $17 million to businesses in the
region which has leveraged more than $70,000,000 in
investment and finance. This has resulted in the
direct creation or retention of over 2,075 jobs, primarily
for low and moderate income people. It has indirectly
contributed to another estimated 4,000.
Through innovative strategies, creative financing and
effective partnering, SEDC has assisted many businesses with
meeting their expansion, retention, creation, relocation,
recruitment and renovation goals. The result: corresponding
increases in the regional tax base, and the securing of new
and existing employment opportunities.
